Wheel Throwing
No experience necessary! Wheel throwing is the technique of shaping round ceramics using a potters wheel. The ‘throwing’ is the shaping part.
How it Works
Daily reservations are available 8:30am – 12:30pm OR 1:30pm – 6pm. We are flexible on start times but it has to be after 8:30am or 1:30pm to ensure the private lesson. We will schedule outside of these parameters as long as we can accommodate which isn’t a guarantee but you can email us directly to discuss.
You can either do wheel throwing yourself or hire an expert instructor.
Wheel Throwing Costs:
- $199.99 per person
Expert instruction costs are as follows:
- $95 for 2 hours for 1 person
- $155 for 2 people
- $195 for 3 people
We welcome walk-ins, but reservations guarantee your spot. Each participant needs to pay and reservations are non-refundable.
Allow 2 weeks for your thrown pieces to dry and be fired and then anytime thereafter but within a month you need to come glaze them or we will do it for you for an additional $35 per piece.
